Atlanta, GA (December 3, 2014)- On Saturday, January 10, 2015 Mark Hildreth will join Naturi Naughton center stage at Georgia World Congress Center to co-host the anticipated, Third Annual Georgia Entertainment Gala. This night of glitz, glamour and elegance celebrates the multitude of talent that Georgia offers in the entertainment industry. 2014 has been a game changing year for Mark starring as Lorne Hanley in the premiere of Bernie Weintraub’s “Above the Fold,” the ABC fantasy-drama “Resurrection,” produced by Brad Pitt’s Plan B Entertainment.
The Canadian born and raised actor and musician won the 2006 Singer-Songwriter Awards and Billboard World Song Contest. Hildreth performed at the world-renowned Viper Room, The Knitting Factory and the The House of Blues in Hollywood, California. As an actor, he trained at the National Theatre School of Canada, playing title roles in “Hamlet” and “Richard III” in Vancouver and Montreal. He received the best actor award playing Marchbanks in George Bernard Shaw’s “Candida” in Vancouver.
Throughout his career Hildreth has enjoyed recurring roles on Showtime’s “The Tudors” and ABC’s sci-fi drama “V”. He has had numerous guest appearances, namely on the CW’s “Supernatural”, CBC’s “Being Erica”, and SyFy’s “Eureka”. In 2007, Mark appeared in PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: AT WORLD’S END with Johnny Depp.
